The School
Who we are, where we come from and how we work, across two campuses in the province of Varese.
The Chinese Language School of Varese was founded in 2015 by a group of Chinese families in the province, with a plain aim: that children growing up in Italy would not lose the language spoken at home. The first lessons were held in June 2016; from September 2018 the school opened in Busto Arsizio as well.
It works today across two campuses, in Varese and Busto Arsizio, on Saturdays from 9:00 to 16:00. The language course follows the twelve volumes of the Zhongwen series, from the first character through to HSK certification, and alongside the language there is calligraphy, recitation, singing, art, mathematics and coding.
Since 2015 more than eight hundred students and three hundred families have passed through the register. Our story tells how we got here.
