Beyond the language, the weekend — Sundays once, Saturdays now — has always been the time for everything around it: brush calligraphy, diction and recitation, singing, art. These are the subjects that make Chinese something practised rather than only studied.

Alongside them the school teaches mathematics, coding for children and Italian for foreigners, and each year prepares the students who enter language competitions: one hundred and eighty-five of them since 2015.
